Exam Success Programme
8-week personalised coaching for students with ADHD preparing for GCSEs, A-levels or university exams
Exams are stressful for everyone, but when you have ADHD, they can feel impossible. You know the material, you've sat through the lessons, done (most of) the homework. But when it comes to revision, everything falls apart. You can't get started, or you start with good intentions but end up down a YouTube rabbit hole three hours later wondering where the time went.
Perhaps you're:
Staring at revision guides but nothing's going in
Leaving everything to the last minute, then panicking
Forgetting what you revised yesterday, never mind last week
Struggling to break down huge topics into manageable chunks
Sitting in mock exams unable to focus or recall what you've learnt
Feeling like everyone else just 'gets it' while you're working twice as hard for half the results
Anxious about letting yourself or your family down
The Exam Success Programme takes you from stressful to successful.
Discovery: Understanding Your Learning Brain
We start by identifying exactly what YOUR ADHD looks like when it comes to studying and exams. Using comprehensive analytical assessments based on 7 types of ADHD, we pinpoint your specific challenges and, crucially, your genuine strengths. A student who hyperfocuses but struggles with organisation needs different strategies than someone who can't focus for more than 10 minutes but has brilliant ideas under pressure.
ADHD brains learn differently. That doesn't mean you can't succeed, it means you need study methods designed for how your brain actually works, not generic revision techniques built for neurotypical students.
Education: Building Your Study Operating System
This isn't about working harder or forcing yourself to revise for hours on end. You'll learn ADHD-specific strategies designed for exam preparation, with a focus on the challenges that matter for your exams, which for you may or may not include:
Getting started - Breaking through the paralysis that comes with big, overwhelming tasks. Making revision feel manageable rather than impossible. Building momentum when motivation is nowhere to be found.
Making revision stick - Study techniques that work with ADHD brains - active learning, spaced repetition, and memory strategies that actually help you retain information rather than just reading the same page five times.
Time management & planning - Creating realistic revision timetables that you'll actually follow. Understanding how long tasks really take when you have ADHD. Building in breaks and rewards that keep you going.
Staying focused - Minimising distractions, managing your environment, and working with your attention span rather than fighting it. Learning when your brain works best and scheduling accordingly.
Exam technique - Reading questions properly, managing time in the exam hall, staying calm under pressure, and accessing what you know when it matters most.
Managing anxiety - Dealing with exam stress and the catastrophic thinking that often comes with ADHD. Building confidence in your abilities rather than focusing on past failures.
Success: Optimising Your Complete Performance
As a qualified mind-body practitioner as well as an ADHD coach, we also address the foundational elements that determine whether your revision actually works:
Sleep patterns and their huge impact on memory and focus
Nutrition for sustained energy and brain function during revision
Movement breaks that help rather than derail your study sessions
Managing screen time and creating study environments that support concentration
These aren't extras - they're the foundation that makes the difference between cramming in a panic and actually feeling prepared.
What You Get
8 weekly one-to-one coaching sessions (60 minutes each) - online or in person, timed to build up to your exams with maximum impact
Personalised ADHD type assessment - providing the clarity you need to understand exactly how your brain learns best and why certain revision methods haven't worked
Practical tools you can implement immediately - not theory, but real study systems and exam strategies you can use from day one
Between-session support - accountability check-ins and guidance when you're stuck, because consistent support between sessions is often what makes the difference
The Goal
By the end of 8 weeks, you'll have systems that works for your ADHD brain, not against it. You'll walk into the exam hall feeling prepared rather than panicked, knowing you've done what you need to do. More importantly, you'll have skills you can use for every exam you face in the future - these aren't just quick fixes, they're lasting systems.
This isn't about becoming someone else or forcing yourself to study like everyone else. It's about discovering how you learn best and building on your strengths - whether that's creativity, verbal ability, making connections others miss, or performing well under pressure - whilst having robust strategies for the challenges ADHD brings to exam preparation.
