For young people

Coaching for young people with ADHD

School, exams, home life, friendships: ADHD shows up everywhere for young people, often without the language to explain what's actually going on. I work with young people and their parents to build practical, lasting strategies, drawing on both professional training and my own lived experience of ADHD. Available online, and in person across Cheltenham and The Cotswolds.

ADHD Clarity Session

£65 · 45 minutes · online or in person

A focused single session to get clarity on what's actually going on and where ADHD is having the biggest impact, whether that's schoolwork, organisation, friendships, or how they feel about themselves.

Whether a parent joins the session depends on age and what feels right for your child. For younger children, a parent is usually in the room. For older teens, it's often just the two of us, with parents kept in the loop separately. We'll agree what works best before the session.

You'll both leave with a clearer picture and one practical first step. There's no obligation to continue afterwards.

  • 45-minute sessions, tailored for young people
  • A structured look at your child's specific challenges, not generic advice
  • Delivered by someone who was diagnosed with ADHD himself and understands it from the inside
  • One clear, written takeaway to start with straight away

Core Foundations

£600 · 6 sessions of 45 minutes · 2 instalments of £300 · online or in person

A structured six-session programme covering the foundations that make the biggest difference for young people with ADHD: sleep, nutrition, movement, nervous system regulation, and dopamine. Sessions are built around your child's real life, school, exams, homework, friendships, rather than a generic checklist.

This is where most families see the biggest shift, not because the strategies are complicated, but because someone is helping your child apply them in a way that actually fits their brain.

  • Six 45-minute sessions, typically weekly or fortnightly
  • A plan covering sleep, food, movement, regulation and dopamine, adapted for school life
  • Practical tools and send-aways after every session
  • Regular updates so parents stay in the loop throughout

Common questions

Before you book

Do I need to be on the call with my child?

It depends on age. For younger children, a parent is usually in the room or on the call. For older teens, sessions often work better one-to-one, with parents kept updated separately. We'll agree what's right for your child before the first session.

Does my child need a formal diagnosis first?

No. Many families start coaching while waiting for an assessment, or without ever pursuing a formal diagnosis. What matters is that ADHD traits are genuinely affecting school, home life, or your child's confidence.

How do I know which option to start with?

If you're not sure, book a free 20-minute call first. We'll talk through what's going on and I'll tell you honestly which option makes sense, even if that's just the Clarity Session for now.

Will I be kept in the loop during Core Foundations or Ongoing Coaching?

Yes. While the coaching relationship is with your child, you'll get regular updates so you understand what's being worked on and how you can support it at home.

Do you coach in person or only online?

Both. Most sessions happen online, which works well for most young people. In-person sessions are available across Cheltenham and The Cotswolds by arrangement.
